当研究室の津田雄一教授率いるはやぶさ2チームが，第72回International Astronautical Congress（ドバイ）にて，"World Space Award"を受賞されました！
同賞は，International Astronautical Federation（国際宇宙航行連盟/IAF）が宇宙開発の分野で顕著な成果を上げた個人やグループに授与している賞です．"IAF World Space Award"は宇宙開発の分野では非常に注目されており，たとえば2019年の受賞者はアポロ11号の乗組員，2020年は中国のChang’e 4（嫦娥4号: 月の裏側に着陸したミッション）の3人のリーダーが受賞しています。津田教授は開会式のスピーチ，テクニカルセッションで1件の発表，更にはHighlight Lectureとして受賞記念の講演を行いました.
The Hayabusa2 team, led by Professor Yuichi Tsuda, received the "World Space Award" at the 72nd International Astronautical Congress in Dubai!
The award is given by the International Astronautical Federation (IAF) to individuals or groups that have made outstanding achievements in the field of space exploration. The "IAF World Space Award" is very high-profile in the field of space exploration; for example, the 2019 winner was the crew of Apollo 11, and in 2020 the three leaders of China's Chang'e 4 mission (landed on the far side of the moon) won the award. Professor Tsuda gave a speech at the opening ceremony.
